At the Acupuncture and Massage School of Oriental Medicine (AMOM), we are fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional education, ethical practice, and institutional integrity. Our school is in the process of pursuing full accreditation and recognition through respected educational and licensing bodies to ensure that our students receive a credible, career-ready education.
🎓 Massage Therapy Program
Our 800-hour Massage Therapy Program meets or exceeds the national standards required to sit for the MBLEx (Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination).
Graduates of our program are eligible to apply for massage therapy licensure in the state of Michigan and other participating states.
We also offer a specialized MBLEx Academy Tutoring Program to support students in passing their board exam with confidence.
🌿 Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Programs (Coming soon in 2026)
We are proud to be the only school in Michigan offering an advanced Master of Acupuncture and Master of Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine education.
These programs are being developed in alignment with the standards set by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM).
Upon accreditation, graduates will be eligible to take the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) exams and pursue licensure as Acupuncturists.
📍 Licensed School
Our school is licensed by the State of Michigan to operate as a professional educational institution for acupuncture, massage therapy, and Oriental medicine.
We follow all guidelines and curriculum standards required by Michigan’s Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
